Michael Carr recently selected as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Roseendale & Darwen

Mike Carr has been selected by local Liberal Democrat members as their prospective Parliamentary candidate. He won a closely fought contest in which all local members had a vote. Mike lives in the constituency and has a wealth of experience.

He was M.P. for Ribble Valley having overturned a massive Conservative majority in a by-election that was credited with persuading the Tories to get rid of the Poll Tax.

Mike Carr said he was looking forward to promoting the Liberal Democrat alternative to Labour.
