Darwen Town Council Candidates and Campaigners

Darwen Liberal Democrats have announced the team fighting the first Town Council elections on Thursday 4th June.

Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Lib Dem Group, Cllr David Foster said " This is a very strong list. We have chosen people who know Darwen well and are active in their communities. These are people with best interests of Darwen at heart. We campaigned against a Town Council because we thought it would duplicate some of functions already being done by the Neighbourhoods that the Liberal Democrats have established across the Borough, but now that it is a reality we are determined to make it work."
